Joining Tri-Ess

You've taken the first step. Please browse our site to learn more about Alpha Chapter and Tri-Ess. When you have decided to join, please follow the instructions below.
 
Tri-Ess (officially The Society for the Second Self, Inc.) and Alpha Chapter of Tri-Ess have separate application forms and separate dues structures. Please download the application forms by clicking the logos or links below. Then, print them and fill them out. Please mail the Tri-Ess form to the address on that form. You may also mail the Alpha Chapter form or, better yet, bring it to a meeting. Dues and meeting fees may be paid by check, money order, or cash. (NEVER mail cash!) We cannot accept credit cards.

Tri-Ess is the parent organization of all local Tri-Ess chapters nationwide. With your Tri-Ess membership, you receive The Mirror, a quarterly publication for Tri-Ess members only, and an optional listing in the Tri-Ess Directory  If your wife or significant other also joins, she receives The Sweetheart Connection, a quarterly publication for wives/SOs. Most importantly, you support Tri-Ess' efforts in educating the general public, as well as its members, about crossdressing and associated issues. While we prefer that you join Tri-Ess before joining Alpha Chapter, that is not mandatory. Both applications can be in process at the same time.

Alpha Chapter is the Los Angeles chapter of Tri-Ess. We hold monthly in-person meetings in the Los Angeles area and occasionally sponsor special events. Typically, meetings include an excellent dinner and a speaker plus social time before and after the meeting. We offer this web site and a Yahoo discussion group for your use. With membership, you receive our monthly newsletter, Alpha-Bits, to inform you of upcoming events and to present articles and news about crossdressing and related matters. Most importantly, we offer a safe, secure place to meet with and learn from others like yourself. Wives and significant others are always welcome at meetings and events. Almost all meetings have at least one--usually several--wives/SOs in attendance. While you are most welcome to attend en femme (dressed), you may attend in drab if you wish. A changing room is available to dress on-site. Visitors may sample as many as three meetings before joining. Please contact our President for information on joining us.

Please note: If you mail forms to either Tri-Ess or Alpha Chapter, please use regular First Class mail. Do NOT send by Registered or Certified mail. There may be no one available to sign for such mail.
